Medical Assistant

Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Mexico City
Mode: On-site/ Full-time

The Medical Assistant collaborates with clinical and non-clinical teams to improve all aspects of medical care in our Mexico City clinic. In addition to providing direct client care, this position involves contributing to administrative tasks related to medical services. The Medical Assistant works closely with the clinic's Medical Director and management team to ensure that each client receives the best possible care.

What you will do

Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to provide personalized care.
Perform laboratory tests, vitals, medical evaluations and other diagnostic tests.
Prepare appointments, register clients for exams, prepare rooms and equipment.
Data entry and basic history building.
Collect and collate affiliate data into customized reports.
Perform internal clinical and administrative tasks.
Assist in the coordination of patient care.
Perform any additional assigned tasks or related projects.

Requirements

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
Experience between 3 and 5 years in phlebotomy is required, preferably.
An innovative, problem solver with an eye for detail who has a track record of reliable follow-through.
Feel comfortable in the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a medical technology start-up company.
It has the necessary experience to offer a first class personalized service to a demanding clientele.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to adapt to learning new computer programs.
Able to work in our Mexico City clinic.
Experience in a non-traditional medical environment is an asset.
A letter of recommendation from previous employer, supervisor, or director.
A native level of spoken and written English is essential.
